Urgent and Routine appointments
All our appointments for patients aged 15 and over are triaged via our online Klinik consultation form which can be found below:
The practice will then direct you to the most suitable person to see you and in an appropriate timescale.
If you cannot complete an online form please ring 01344 454626 Option 1 who will complete the questions for you and you will then be triaged as above.
Children aged 0-14
For children aged 0 to 14 please complete the form in the healthier together app which can be found below:
Using Healthier Together is the easiest way not only to get an appointment if needed for your child but for other information about your child and any health related concerns you may have.

Pharmacy
Your pharmacy can advise you on minor illness without the need of an appointment. Please speak to a pharmacist first.
Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals who can offer clinical advice, over the counter medicines and their use, to effectively and safely manage a range of minor health concerns. They can also help you to decide whether you’ll need to see a doctor. You don’t need an appointment and you won’t even be asked to make a purchase. Every pharmacy also has a private consultation area for you to talk about your symptoms in private if you prefer.
Your appointment
However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
- on a video call
- by text or email
Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.
Telephone Consultations
Every day we offer a number of telephone consultations with the Duty Doctor. Where possible they will deal with your request over the phone but if it is necessary they will arrange to see you that day. There are many ways we can help with non-urgent issues through the practice website.
Chaperones
If you would like a chaperone to be present during an intimate physical examination, please let us know.
We have specially trained staff members who are trained in this regard, if they are not available at the time of your appointment, you may need to re book your appointment.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
Please make every effort to keep your appointment. If you are unable to make it, please cancel it as soon as possible, using the NHS app, so that it can be reallocated to another patient in need. Your help will avoid a significant waste of NHS resources and is much appreciated.
